Our credit professionals maintain daily contact with agent banks, private equity sponsors, and fellow investors to stay abreast of current market trends. In evaluating individual loans, our credit analysts complete a thorough review of the issuer’s financial history, industry dynamics, and leverage profile. This review is documented in a written Investment Recommendation and reviewed by Pangaea’s Investment Committee. Our Investment Committee convenes at least weekly to review current market conditions, approve investment recommendations and discuss account strategy.

The Pangaea Investment Committee consists of our three founding partners, Barry Shear, David Schmuck and Michael King, all of whom have significant experience in the leveraged loan market. Our streamlined credit process empowers our team to screen opportunities efficiently and engage the Investment Committee early on in the evaluation of an investment opportunity. This enables us to provide timely and reliable feedback to the agent bank community.
